As a life long resident of the North Seattle area I have developed a deep understanding of the neighborhoods, the geography, the amenities, and the conveniences of each neighborhood in North King and South Snohomish Counties. Growing up in Richmond Beach, I know what it is like to be a kid in this wonderful place. I know about all the great parks, all the fun places to go and all the great places to learn. As I grew up I began to develop my sense that I could help people achieve happiness. I worked through college at a busy restaurant in Shoreline where I learned that everyone is special in their own way and that respecting people as though they are your loved ones is the best way to treat people. I also learned that working hard without taking shortcuts most always produces the best results and the best relationships. I really enjoyed the interactions with the hundreds of people daily and getting to know each one of them over the years and leaning about their unique qualities. After several years I began to notice my hard work paying off. I developed some great relationships with some local real estate professionals and I was able to purchase my own home. It was a 710 square foot fixer upper with graffiti on the walls in Lake Forest Park. It was a perfect opportunity for me. I worked during the day fixing up the house and worked nights at the restaurant. After 1 year I was able to sell the completed home for a substantial profit. I then went on over the next several years to do this 4 more times, during which others began asking me to work on their homes. I soon had enough knowledge to get my general contractors licence. I worked with some of the best carpenters, plumbers, electricians and trades people I knew. They all taught me a tremendous amount about home construction. In 2004, my friend's that I made while working in the restaurant years before, who were in real estate, encouraged me to become a real estate agent. Being that I already had a great understanding about homes, home construction, the neighborhoods, investing in real estate, and an openness to meeting new people, I decided to dive into real estate as a profession. I still am a licensed contractor. My clients find this very valuable when looking at homes. I can help them point out concerns, offer up remodel advise and costs and put a dollar amount on repairs that can be used during negotiations. I can also recommend what should be done before listing a home and share my subcontractors with clients should the need arise. Being a REALTOR, a real estate agent, and a general contractor allows me to bring a level of knowledge about homes to a greater and more in depth level than most others in the residential real estate industry.

What I like to do in my free time.

I am an amateur urban farmer. I farm my backyard at my home in the University District. This season I am growing about 25 different fruits and vegetables.

Twice a month, my wife, myself and our golden retriever visit two local nursing homes to provide animal assisted therapy for the residents. This is a volunteer program sponsored by the Seattle Animal Shelter.

Urban hiking is one of my favorite activities. It is easy to drive through local neighborhoods but to really experience these gems a walk is the only way to go! It is not uncommon for my wife and I and our dog to walk 10 or 12 miles and through a dozen unique neighborhoods in one walk.
